Mets At The Movies*
The New York Mets, Clearview Cinemas and Screenvision have partnered, once again, to host the "Mets At The Movies" series this summer. The live in-cinema viewing replicating the game experience premiered Wednesday, June 17th at Clearview's legendary Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City when the Mets visited the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets were $12 per game. The Mets will hold two additional "Mets At The Movies" events on July 16th and August 26th in Clearview Cinemas located in Port Washington, NY, Parsippany, NJ and New York, NY.
Phillies On The Big Screen*
Screenvision begins a new partnership this year with the World Championship Philadelphia Phillies to bring four Phillies games to National Amusements and Clearview Cinemas theatres in the Philadelphia market.
Moviegoers will enjoy a night at the game while in-theatre. Sing-a-longs, T-shirt give-a-ways, hot dogs, peanuts and more will be on hand during the summer-long series. The first game premiered Tuesday, June 9th when the Philadelphia Phillies visited the New York Mets. Three additional "Phillies On The Big Screen" events follow this summer on June 23rd, August 11th and September 8th.
Ultra Marathon Man*
Journey Film and Screenvision presented the independent documentary following healthy living guru Dean Karnazes' incredible odyssey of 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 consecutive days. The documentary which was aligned with North Face and Runner's World was showcased in 185 locations across the country. The film was distributed using Screenvision's digital platform.
Ballet Shoes*
Screenvision partnered with Koch Vision to bring the national premiere of Ballet Shoes, a feature film starring Emma Watson. The heartwarming film was based on the classic novel by Noel Streatfield, and tells the story of three orphaned girls and their pursuit of performing arts careers. Supported by Barnes & Noble, the event was presented at 170 locations across the country beginning August 2008. The film was distributed using Screenvision's digital platform.
MLB.com and Screenvision Partner to Relive the Magic of the Phillies*
Last November, at five theatres in the Philadelphia market, Screenvision exclusively exhibited the Official Major League Baseball Productions World Series film. The film chronicles the Phillies epic 2008 Championship season and documents their memorable post-season. The Bridge Cinema Delux in Philadelphia, PA hosted a red carpet event which included having members of the Phillies organization in attendance and the World Series trophy displayed onsite.
