Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Research Analyst will be responsible for using software tools to analyze and present Nielsen ratings/research data to sales and marketing departments.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include: • Execute day to day research requests for our national, regional and local sales forces • Develop new and innovative ways to analyze and present research data • Analyze competitive spending patterns for prospecting purposes • Extract and analyze data from Nielsen and other research related software (MRI, Reach and frequency tool etc.) to produce reports for sales and all business units • Participation in internal sales meetings and attend sales calls as necessary • Keep abreast of current events in the movie and advertising industries • Work on corporate wide special projects requiring market data and analysis • Lead primary research initiatives from questionnaire development through presenting results to the client and agency

Experience Required:

Qualifications include: • Bachelor’s Degree (marketing/communications major preferred) • 3+ years agency and/or media experience, television experience preferred • Thorough knowledge of MRI research • Thorough knowledge of Nielsen software (AdViews, Galaxy) • Must know how to generate ideas and new concepts • Must have strong problem solving skills • Excellent analytical skills required • Must be a creative/ strategic thinker • Very strong business writing and oral communication skills required • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required • Must have a strong knowledge of media and the sales process • Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
